On the occasion of World Refugee Day, the journalistic project “#TuNonSaiChiSonoIo” [You Don’t Know Who I Am], gets underway which will tell, over the coming months, through a series of first-hand videos, the stories of the many exiles who have arrived in Italy from countries of the Mediterranean, Africa and the Middle East. The project is the result of a collaboration between Agi and independent journalists from Next New Media, and will feature the migrants, with their differences in terms of their past, background, expectations and experience of integration, together with their fears, hopes and expectations. The # project intends to combine in-depth content and typical new media methods of consumption, with the aim of contributing to the debate on the phenomenon of migration, also adding, to the news and statistical data, direct knowledge of those who have decided to leave their home country to live in Italy and Europe. # will also be created thanks to the collaboration of the Italian Red Cross and other third sector organizations which will support Agi and Next New Media in identifying stories and key players. The videos will be published on the Agi.it website every week, and will be available to associations, institutions and other media in accordance with the Creative Commons 3.0 criteria (Noncommercial – No Derivative Works), so that they can be shared or hosted on their own online platforms, in order to contribute as widely as possible to their distribution.
