In Australia, 71% of the population would vote for a party with a program supporting renewable energy

71% of Australians claim they are ready to vote for a party willing to guarantee support for the development of green technology, while one of four would like to see batteries for storage of produced power. The data comes from a report bu the Australian Institutute, published for the country’s Federal Elections and titled "Securing Renewables: How Batteries Solve the Problem of Clean Electricity". Moreover, according to the report, 65% of Australians would support a party with a program to reach 100% renewable energy by 2030, while 45% claimed that, for them, policies aimed at supporting electric transportation would be the difference makers. The report, which appeared on news outlets internationally, will also be distributed at the Australian Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition.
