COPEAM, a non-profit organization devoted to the promotion of dialogue and cultural integration in the Mediterranean Region, will hold its 26th annual conference in Split, Croatia, on April 4-6, 2019. The title of this year’s event is “Changing societies: communicating diversities”. The conference will see the involvement of the major players from the audiovisual sector, including public radio and television services from 27 counties in the area, as well as professional and cultural associations and organizations, higher education and specialist training institutions, independent producers and local authorities from Europe, the Balkans, North Africa and the Middle East.
OPEC, the organization formed by the main petroleum exporting countries, will hold its next meeting in Vienna later this year, on 17 and 18 April. The summit held in Vienna the past 6 and 7 December ended with a production cut of 1.2 million barrels per day.
In a press release, the Ministry of Energy of Saudi Arabia announced that the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and countries outside the Cartel will be held in Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia, on 19 May.
The CEM consists of 24 countries and the EU, who together account for 90% of all investment in clean energy in the world and 75% of global GHG emissions. The Tenth Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM10) will be hosted by Canada during the week of 27 May 2019. CEM focuses on practical co-operation, the exchange of good ideas and experiences within green solutions and the involvement of the private sector.
