WPC The World Petroleum Congress, also known as the "Olympics" of the petroleum industry, covers all aspects of the oil and gas industry from technological advances in upstream and downstream operations to the role of natural gas and renewables, management of the industry and its social, economic and environmental impact. Companies, governments, other industry sectors, NGOs and international institutions join in the dialogue. The Congress will bring together over 5,000 delegates and over 500 speakers. Ministerial Delegations & senior business executives from all over the world will be meeting at the 22nd WPC at the highest level. The "Russian Energy Week" Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum will take place in Moscow on October 3–7, 2017 in accordance with Order No. 2026-r of the Government of the Russian Federation dated September 27, 2016.
