In recent years, Pakistan has seen a rapidly growing energy demand and a supply gap, caused by an increase in consumption in all sectors of the economy: residential, commercial, industrial and transport. In view of this, the program for this year’s Conference has been developed to find sustainable energy solutions, available through cross-border energy exchanges, to meet future needs.

The WEF on Africa will be held in Ethiopia, the second most populated area of Sub-Saharan Africa and a prime example of a continent with a rapidly growing economy. Home of the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Addis Ababa will provide the opportunity to bring together world and African leaders to discuss pan-African economic transformation.

Solarexpo, the international conference and exhibition on renewable energy and distributed generation, is the most important trade fair in Italy – and one of the leaders globally – dedicated to sustainable energy and the green economy. A benchmark event for all operators in the sector, Solarexpo is the meeting point between demand and supply for the new energy technologies that are destined to play an essential role in the journey towards a low-carbon economy. The 13th edition of the event offers three technology focus areas, dedicated particularly to topical energy issues: PV Supply Chain, CSP and Polygen.

The Solar Future USA ’12 is the first Solar Future conference in the United States. This event will focus on the latest market developments and opportunities in the solar industry.

Water and energy are essential for our society and for the future. The International Water Association has therefore organized the first edition of the World Congress on Water, Climate and Energy in 2012. The Congress will analyze the themes of sustainable water and energy use, with particular attention to climate change and mitigation.

The 16th edition of OGU will take place on May 15-17, at the same time as the Exhibition organized on May 16 and 17 at the InterContinental Hotel in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. OGU is the premier oil and gas trade event in Uzbekistan, and a hub for global industry leaders to meet and do business.

An international forum devoted to the exchange of ideas and information on current and future energy systems. The aim is to create synergy between the worlds of engineering, environmental sciences and industry in order to find appropriate solutions to the most pressing issues relating to the energy and environment sector.

Once again, Sweden – in particular, the city of Jönköping – will be the international focal point for bioenergy. The event combines conferences, field trips and fairs in a single global event. The aim of the exhibition is to promote the commercial implementation of bioenergy technologies.

Home of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its second-largest economy, Thailand is the ideal location for discussing the region’s future opportunities – not only for local leaders, but also for those who see this area as an important pillar of the world economy.
